Sure. But that was the original poster's point: that companies go public to raise money. Though oddly, there's been an argument made that Utopya has all kinds of private backing, and so can afford to pay for the manufacture of its phones without engaging in other fundraising. Were that true, it really wouldn't have needed to acquire the nasty ANDI shell.
