There isn't one BMG patent in the world that hasn't been scrutinized by Bill Johnson and his Glassimetal Team.

Some do not understand that Bill Johnson founded Liquidmetal, that he is the principle reason for all of the growth in researchers around the world, most of the principle ones who studied under him as their mentor and have gone to mentor others.

To suggest that Bill Johnson is behind the curve is something I would never do.

Indeed, he is on the cutting edge of new technology which has been derived from cumulative research since he studied under Duwez, the titular founder of the BMG sciences.

He has a staff of driven scientists and engineers who are motivated.
I never would classify Glassimetals as a start up.

I have no doubt that there company will be drawing major contracts in the very short future. They are not locked into a niche of a niche marketing plan. They have a package of directions they can go.

I also would not rule them out of future military contracts, which always have been for research only, historically, in the BMG sphere. When the time comes for militarization, all of the work will be subcontracted to military contractors and production won't be done outside of them. Just need to look at the military relationships to know that.

I don't see Liquidmetal being involved, anymore, in such research efforts. Being beholden to China has some downsides, no matter what one's pedigree is.
