I use different bracket-order settings for different markets.
For the ES it's a 2/ to 1 ratio - 7 (or 8) tick initial target and 3 tick stop
For the YM & NQ it's 2.5 to 1 - 10 tick target with 4 tick stop.
After a trade is initiated I can often raise them as the trade develops BUT I never decrease the initial stop.
