My ears perked up when I saw earlier this year the new Access CEO had worked out three deals with big time distributors of medical products. That was a first. But the end users still need to buy them. I haven't been able to figure out what I'm missing. One stick hospitalizations, little risk of infection and their cost, bonuses from Medicare for improved patient satisfaction, the new one that can be put in by an emt in the field and left in once at the hospital, all point to a product that shows benefits for its introduction. Maybe it's lack of marketing. It does seem to be a more complicated installation. Maybe that's it. These things always come down to money money money profit profit profit but although it costs a little more savings in the long run seem to be proven in the studies. The lust for profit overcomes stupidity and incompetence in most cases. Maybe not in this instance though
