It might very well be the DRDO units have be capitalized in India and is a whole separate timeline and product...and is all XNRGI and is the genesis of all the remote area power from 2009....any of the parities involved with Neah in the past may have insider information that would want them to become larger stakeholders....There is to have been a FA fuel cell breakthrough as well as one for the batteries..

This is all without the impact of a new an better battery which is the news that is expected.

During the first quarter of our 2015 fiscal year, we shipped five systems to the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) of the Government of India, and have built multiple Formira reformer demonstrator units, that we are using for acquisition of customers, and to validate the technology. We have shipped over two hundred BuzzBar® units from our initial low rate initial production (LRIP), since introduction of the product. The lessons learned from our LRIP production, and feedback on the design, has been incorporated into the design of our next generation product, BuzzBar Gen3. We expect to start manufacturing and shipping BuzzBar Gen 3 on capitalization of the Company.

Neah Sees Its Remote Area Power Systems as a Solution for 1.5 Billion People Without Electricity
SOURCE :

BOTHELL, Wash.– Neah Power Systems, Inc., (OTCBB:NPWZ), the Company developing fuel cell-based renewable energy, revealed a new white paper titled “Remote Area Power Systems for off-the-grid power,” which specifically details its patented solution and the market for renewable energy, off-the-grid systems, as well as Neah’s plans to integrate its fuel cell into these systems.

“A critical need in developing countries such as Africa, China, India, and other areas is electricity, where better than one-and-half billion people live without it,” said Dr. Tsali Cross, Neah Vice President of Engineering. “Remote Area Power Supplies (RAPS) enable off-the-grid power. We have letters of intent from EKO vehicles, of India, for these systems, and significant interest from other customers, principally in Asia, who operate off-the-grid, have poor grid infrastructure, or both.”

Chris D’Couto, Neah CEO, pointed out that economic development in vast areas of the world is being held back by lack of reliable, low-cost electricity. “RAPS provides solutions that are off the grid, are renewable energy-based, and leverage our subsidiary Solcool’s energy management systems for generation and storage. These can be deployed relatively quickly and can bring a better life for many millions of people. That is what chiefly motivates us.”

and all the African solutions to remote power....

NEAH may generate in excess of $20 million in revenues from this partnership. The significance of this joint venture is that NEAH's PowerChip batteries offer six times more power than traditional batteries. In addition, with this new technology, NEAH says jobs will be created in the U.S., while at the same time, providing a better quality of life in Africa. "We chose NEAH because their next-generation energy storage system is powerful, cost effective and compatible with Tritente's $6 billion plan to deploy renewable energy in Africa and to bring the Artilium-Africa solution to every African mobile operation, educational institution, government entities and every cell phone holder," said Paul Delkaso, chief executive officer of Tritente and managing partner of Artilium-Africa.
