They better have lost the fins. If they continue with the claim that the fins magically provide buoyancy when they automatically deploy upon immersion in water they will have loads of physics aficionados calling BS.

Making the phone much bigger than its components require so that a bunch of unused air space is incorporated is the most logical way to make the phone buoyant. Of course one then needs to account for air pressure/volume changes as the phone is in various states of use and various states of internal temperature.

In other words, I suspect the phone claims might be just full of hot air.
