re: privacy concerns on the net.

Recently I appreciated a tip from a poster here about using the microphone on my phone to text as I find texting and posting on my phone to be tedious for all the reasons one might guess. I've also played around with the voice command on my computer for kicks. I've had a change of attitude on that not for any black hearted reason, but on principle for a sense of privacy. One small example is it irks me that recently viewed ads follow me around and I find it not the least bit helpful that Google 'guesses' my intention when typing into Google search based on prior searches. That saves what, a particle of a nano second in time spent typing out the whole phrase?

I recently went back and strengthened my deletion of Facebook and privacy with new info (to me at least) and did the privacy thing with Google this morning. The info Google gathers on us makes Facebook look like pikers btw.

Below is the first of many videos from this guy in Ireland to tighten up privacy concerns with Google. I blocked 134 trackers which left 67 that supposedly were "temporarily unavailabe to block at this time". Yeah right.

As a side, searching in private mode only keeps your info safe from trackers, NOT Google, as they still collect and store it. VPNs have their own leaky defenses as well, which is whole 'nother story.

For anyone interested, this guy's instructions are pretty simple to follow, as I stated this is just the first in a series from him.

I "paused" and disabled everything available, you may want to keep some features.
