Acevedo said there were three security personnel, including the woman in the wheelchair. There was also a Houston police officer nearby, but Bennett disregarded him, the police chief said. Acevedo said Bennett used an expletive to the officer, then walked on the field. The Associated Press reported that Acevedo said Bennett allegedly told the people he had pushed, "You all must know who I am and I can own this (expletive). I'm going down to the field, whether you like it or not." The officer didn't purse Bennett, the police chief said, since he was working by himself, didn't consider Bennett a further threat and knew who he was. The charge, injury to the elderly, includes intentionally and knowingly, causing bodily injury to a person 65 years or older, the District Attorney's Office said. It carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
