FYI - On the TDA side of things..

For quick funds, the best method is a wire transfer through your bank. Ready for trading within 3 hours, but usually takes about 1.5 hours to process.

Right now TDA has a promotion that gives you three free months of trading if you deposit more than $3k into your account. For those looking to buy a bunch of smaller chunks as they become available this could help out quite a bit.
