Again, you're talking about retail. I'm busy tonight but I can cite instances of institutions and market makers being heavily fined for stock manipulation, usually shorting for reasons other than having to make a market. And very very few of them are ever caught doing it. But I'm not going to get caught up in an argument with people who don't want an honest discussion about it.
