I just made a rare investment change. Replaced an old bank CD yielding 0.8% with a new one yielding 3.0%.

Got a rare phone call from one of my (starving) brokers who said his clients are acutely aware of the rising interest rates and want to move cash into them. Mostly he was pushing brokered bank CDs.
