This is important because people think how old a company is on paper shows it's worth. Not necessarily. A lot of times a company is just meant to "hold" things (like a holding company! lol). It's like a bank account: just because it was opened yesterday doesn't mean it can't be worth a lot today. It depends who owns it and what they put in it.
