SEC reduced its extortion demand by more than 50%, now in the $700k range. This was due to a ruling in another case re statute of limitations which BIEL had rightfully claimed at the Hearing but the Judge had disagreed

The SCOTUS has the Lucia vs SEC case scheduled for 4/28/2018. This will determine if the SEC Administrative Law Judges are operating within the Constitution or are unconstitutional as the US Solicitor General and the 10th Circuit Federal Appeals Court have determined. If ALJs are unconstitutional the SEC decision against BIEL is void.
