It is a great thing that is for sure. Big fish have been eyeing pixelmags for some time now, there is no question about that.
Knowing what Apple plans to do with Texture and how they will revolutionize magazines aside from just subscriptions will tel the tale.

My tinfoil conducts each magazine as a digital retail stores.
Amazon will be popular but would lose profit share within the e-commerce sector.
Now that’s only speculation but it’s doable. Apple knows it, Apple will make huge $ on subscriptions plus a commission of any sale through a magazine ad.
