I'm driving so this may not make sense I think after reading that K and sleeping on it we're talking about a plastic box with a laser embedded into the all-plastic modulator with a plastic waveguide a piece of fiber coming out of one end a little voltage to keep the laser fired remember the perk can handle the laser constantly pounding on it and in a couple of wires or report to allow the electronic data signal into the box that wouldn't even have any silicone I would just be a modulator single mode inp compatible with perk perk compatible with plastic plastic cheaper than kovar X
