The recent appointment of Tammy McDonald to head their game division Media Play signals AppSwarm may be embarking on building a team of game developers to focus back on its core operations. Her expertise in game development, experience working with Sony on their PlayStation Home division, and extensive connections within the game development market could position SWRM to become a much smaller version of game developer Zinga (NASDAQ:ZNGA).
For these reasons Ludlow Research has adjusted its valuation target on SWRM to $0.15+, based on roughly 100 million shares outstanding, or a ’speculative’ market cap projection of $15 million at that price.
Based on market value comparison with other players in this sector this seems to a be a fair and conservative projection.
