I am the in house accountant for a small business in Denver, my outside CPA was just finishing up our taxes. She sent me a list of 3 questions before she could finalize our taxes. 2 of the items were correct, I just had to explain why they looked unusual. The last item was a duplicate entry of a $45 payroll expense. We corrected the duplicate entry and had the entire situation resolved in less than 45 minutes including research time.
Now that is how you deal with adjustments from your auditor. I do not understand why Roger's people are taking so long to make a few adjustments. Last week he told us he would have the adjustment back to the auditors by Thursday, then we are told he turned them in Monday. Sounds like Roger needs to get a new in house accountant if it takes 5 days to make a few journal entries.
