I think that's basically what is going on. I will give you a response to my inquiry to Philip Suomu, Director of Technology, for 3DICON.

  Mr. Suomu,

I've sincerely appreciated your correspondence in the past.  I was hoping you could give me some insight, if possible, as to where the company is on establishing a prototype for display.  As the May 2, 2006  PR entitled  "OU, Tulsa firm make headway on 3-D tech" mentioned, Jim Sluss was aiming to have a prototype ready and on display for the public in August.  To my knowledge that hasn't happened yet.  I, and many stockholders, were curious as to if this technology is going to be shown at the annual meeting or is not yet functional enough for public display.  Any insight you can give me on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dear Mr. XXXX

Thank you for your inquiry. 3DIcon and The University of Oklahoma are working on multiple technologies, about which you will be hearing shortly. Both are in various stages of research, design, engineering, and assembly which will be explained in more detail at the Special Briefing immediately following the annual meeting on October 28. I have asked that the "works in progress" be shown. If they are at a break point in which you may term it a prototype, then you shall see it.

As to Dr. Sluss' comments in April: 3DIcon representatives saw a demonstration of part of the technology in June. Opinions in the laboratory varied as to whether "the public" should see it. As an engineer, I was quite impressed with what they had accomplished; as a marketing person, I thought it had a way to go before a public demonstration would produce the "wow" factor the general public rather than the engineer would want to see.

I hope this answers your inquiries.

Thanks for being a shareholder in this exciting time.

The statement about working on "multiple technologies" is interesting. I was unaware they were working on anything other than creating holograms. I'll be there on the 28th and will post a summary of the meeting and will try to write a non-biased view to those interested on the site.

In the meantime, hold your breath, keep your fingers crossed, and hope this thing hits the moon in the near future.
