You conveniently left out an important issue when it comes to a R/S .

While it may be true that the reverse split in itself has no negative effect on shareholders what typically happens shortly after a reverse split takes place certainly does . In most cases there will be a significant sell off and drop in the PPS after the split takes place and that CERTAINLY DOES have a negative effect on shareholders value . Anyone who has been in a stock that has done a R/S can testify to this ( in most cases anyway ) . Saying that it makes NO DIFFERENCE or that it is just " Boogieman stuff " IS a load of crap . Talk of Reverse Splits are not just some kind of scare tactic coming from the boogieman but are very real and almost always have a negative effect on current shareholders.
