I use the "Trade" and the "Chart" tabs...under the Trade tab, I have a grid of 20 boxes--I set up a L2 gadget for a stock with a T&S in the box right under it, thus monitoring 10 stocks..

under the Chart tab, I use a 2 box grid of whatever stocks I want to watch closely---enabling a bigger area for charts, etc--and in this setup I drag(shrink) the size of the L2 to create more space for the chart...

I use the Marketwatch tab for all my watchlists--and the Monitor tab to view portfolio values along with order status/fill info...

your statement of TOS being as complicated or simple as you want it is perfect
