Antihama, even before that, I suggested TFF may have been incorporated when Germany started. I've been subtly dissuaded a couple times, but I keep coming back to it. See Posts 63287 and 63289 for starters.

I think it's more likely than not TFF was added in Germany. In brief, I think it slowed the trial down for a number of reasons.

1. Germans took too long to get it going (aka: inspect it).
2. Caused more psPD subject to interpretation, imo.
3. TFF had to be halted during the trial, imo, because you couldn't put patients on placebo where the treatment arm was living so much longer.
4. Slowed OS eventing.

These are just my opinions, and I fluctuate. However, even though Doc and I think the optimizations might have been different, he said something I completely agree with. How could NWBO be surprised at the number of people still alive around February 7, 2018? They should be done being surprised. There is much to think TFF is the equivalent of method B. Including continuing with DCVax-L in future trial plans. It was tainted the old jalopy, and now it appears to be the new Maserati.
