The revenue for 2017 for Technicolor's patent licensing appears to be 131 million euros or about 106 million dollars. There was a decline from 2016.

It appears Interdigital gets 57.5% going forward and must invest 5 or 10 million annually in addition to the $150 million. I am not sure which amount because Merritt mentioned 5 million twice and was not clear what he meant.

He seemed very upbeat that they could generate significant revenue from the patents.

It appear that Interdigital could get a big benefit from the deal. That is if their crack license team can license the Technicolor patents. It should not be difficult to earn more than they have been earning on their cash and short term investments.

I have no idea about age and terms of their current patents and licenses, which hopefully our management feels good about.
