Hello techmover, here is how your stock transfer works;

When I first bought my shares direct from Zion Oil and Gas (ZN) I

A: I went to their website and bought into the warrant program.
B: I recieved a confirmation email from ZN in a week explaining my purchase and that American Stock Transfer (AST) holds my account, both shares and warrants in electronic form.
C: I called AST to verify my account and they said to give it a week or so because ZN only mails out the purchase list once a week. It took almost 2.5 weeks to show up in my AST account because AST also processes ZN just once a week.
D: I also had to go on line and open up a free online account at AST. Once AST processed my shares and warrants they showed up in my account, 2.5 weeks total wait time from original purchass date.
E: When the warrants became available, I then went back online at ZN to exercise my warrants and you pretty much repeat the same steps of waiting for AST to receive your warrant purchase.
F: In 2-3 weeks I was able to see my ZN shares double in my AST account and the warrants were no longer available.
G: I then printed out an AST statement showing my ZN shares and emailed it to a representative at TD Ameritrade. I also went into my TDA account and filled out a form to transfer equities. I called a rep at TDA and he helped me fill out the transfer form online. My ZN shares were transfered electronically and showed up in my account in two days.

I do suggest its probably much easier to take your AST statement to your brokerage firm and have them process it for you.

I hope this helps bro,

Go Zion Oil & Gas and thank you Jesus!
