thanks. I've been playing with multiple broker watchlist programs this morning. StreetSmart Edge (from Schwab) seems to be close enough to what I want.

some brokers (like Etrade) don't even recognize certain index symbols that I like to watch....like VVIX (volatility of the VIX), and therefore can't add it to the streaming-quotes watch list.
