And do you make this same argument next year after they dilute again and ask for more authorized shares? How much money are you willing to give this nothing company? Wouldn't it be better for everyone if they just sold out to BP and let a knowledgable BP team do this? I'd even bet they'd get a product to market faster that way. Let the professionals handle this.
