ANY other company that was still saying in November, 3 trials by years end
and failed to deliver without a articulate explanation and gone I would be.

No debate on the failure to start the promised 3 trials but this recent news from Phizer on their AD trials stopping after 20+ years of work does present some context for the AVXL miss. A number of other BP's also stopped AD trials. They had trails running and STOPPED them, without any data driven explanation...like we just got additional clinical results???

We are all tremendously let down by the pull back of A2-73 planned starts however the impact is somewhat mitigated by the fact that all BP (except for BIIB) have pulled their AD plugs. WHY?

We may never know what has just happened but it MUST have been significant.
