seems M is overwhelmed with these responsibilities and talked about milestones that clearly missed by miles - does not know what is under his control or not and when things will move
(In corporate world this happens to many when they move above their level of incompetence)

All holders of AVXL were disappointed when the 3 trials promise did not happen. I compare that to ALL the BP companies that withdrew/stopped ALL their AD trials. There must be some common denominator that we do not know that caused all of these actions to take place at about the same time. The old days are gone, we all need to reset our investment context a little.

I see M's choice to not start trials as less a declaration of failure than the BIG P's simultaneous shut down moves WW. The obvious common denominator is the FDA but we will probably never know what really happened. Can we agree that by far the biggest failure here does not even get discussed. Neither the FDA nor any WW regulatory body nor prestigious medical body has a clue on how to address our growing CNS disease disaster. It looks to me like the cancer researchers have a plan and they are working on a process to get ahead. Could it be as simple as the CNS people are trying to do the same thing and in that context the rest of us have to take our old headsets about trials and shatcan them? We have to find new and better ways to invest in the Bio world. Meanwhile I think AVXL is a winner, one way or another.
