in college i was a server at a nice steakhouse...this was about 10 years ago...this couple comes in orders and eats 3 quarters of their meal and then starts with the food is cold, i asked for ketchup 15 minutes ago...there is a foreign object in my drink blah blah...
they demand the manager and tell him im racist etc..lol...he comps their meal and they leave...afterward i tell him they just scammed you bud...their order was perfect and im not a racist...

about a year later they come back and sit at one of my tables...they don't remember me but i remember them so i go tell my manager....they're back...so he starts watching them...they start the exact same scenario
after eating nearly everything lmao then demand the manager...the manager comes over and confronts them saying you did this last time and they start getting loud and abusive to him...

it just so happens a cop off duty is sitting at the table next to them and intervenes saying he never heard me say or do anything inappropriate and the manager didn't either and you people need to pay up and leave immediately or face arrest for theft of services and disorderly conduct...

they paid and slinked out quietly...of course leaving no tip lol.
