If I was following my rules (meaning if I was now in cash, which I am not), I would still be in cash as this week ended. Thursday and Friday of this week did not see the $USHL5 make a strong move towards 1000. stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$USHL5&p=D&yr=1&mn=9&dy=0&id=p25593898639 When it goes below zero, I typically cash out and sit on the sidelines. I will likely do the same again if/when it happens. I typically buy back in when the chart is above zero, and making a strong move towards 1000. < 0 = Negative, Go to Cash > 0 < 1000, Neutral. Follow the trend. Buy in if rising. Prepare to sell if falling. > 1000 < 2250, Positive. Get in if not already. > 2250 = Bullish. Stay in. Interestingly, the $USHL5 chart appears to have stalled near 200 yesterday and again today, http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$USHL5&p=D&yr=1&mn=9&dy=0&id=p25593898639 ...and the $USHL has been dancing around the zero line all week. http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$USHL&p=D&yr=1&mn=9&dy=0&id=p25593898639 If these two charts turn back down next week, I will be going to cash and sitting on the sidelines with you!
