He's not a kid. He has been in the industry in various different positions. I believe he is a licensed broker and also helps manage with his father. He used to handle IR until they hired Pondel/Wilkinson in Beverly Hills, CA.

I know a lot of people who hire their kids if they are competent and especially trustworthy. I believe President Trump has done than with Ivanka and his son in law.
