Stayed at the Chateau LL twice. Cool place, awesome setting. Sleigh ride was cool---at night! The Banff Springs Hotel is also awesome, older, so it has that style. That's where I met Picabo Street, in the hot tub. I was on course at the Downhill and Super G, shooting. The coldest day was -14F, just above the cut off temp for race cancellation. I had a pic published of the Russian gal, who had no mask, so she covered any exposed skin with white tape. I dunno how I ever got a sharp images, I was shivering, standing there!!
The downhill leg of the Alpine Combined just started--go watch. If Shiffren keeps it close, she'll win. I'm pulling for Vonn, since it will be her last Olympic race.
