If you go to his website and zoom into the pic of the blue dog and tree, look at the foliage of the tree and you'll see all sorts of images hidden in the brushstrokes, or whatever he used. I wonder if he had a problem with colors like Vincent van Gogh supposedly had. Looks like a neat pub places.

Lots of right angle letter type strokes or markings. The patterns emerge if zoomed in. The best way ever to make out close color shadings is to use a cinagell filter gell order book sample kit. It is over an inch thick and a little larger than a matchbox with all transparent gell samples of colors needed for video/film lighting. Holding a filter over the picture or painting will neutralize certain colors while other colors come out. Fascinating.

Many artists, including myself have forever hidden things in our works. I had a complex abstract landscape where I hid names of people I hated with derogatory comments. They never knew except for one person. It was beautiful. Of course I've hidden sexual images as well.

Subliminal advertising was hot some years ago. But a lot is peoples imagination too. But it's still out there.
