Always figured you for a wild man!!

Love TAOS. Been there twice. Cover of my 1997 calendar was shot on Twin Tree Chute.

Mammoth!! I was there once, day one raging blizzard, lower mt only. DAy 2 2.5 feet of perfect pow and sunshine, and that was April. Day 4 another foot plus of pow!! My models were Lisa Feinberg Ballard, then Densmore (google her, or her FB if you swing that way), Tom Stillo, a pro Crested Butte based shooter, and the best skiing mkting director I've ever skied with. He's now at Whistler. Lisa was on the Dartmouth college team, US Ski Team, raced pro a bit, has been a writer, announcer, and photographer, now a top ranked master's racer and she coaches. My dream woman.... on her third husband, though....

I skied all day with Hilary Lindh at Whistler once, then saw the same skis she was on at half price, and bought em.. A bit narrow at 88 underfoot, but they blow through crud with ease and hold an edge well, for not being a race ski. I'd met Hilary and Picabo at the Laske Louise WC races circa 1992. Hilary had been the US best downhiller until a year after that when Picabo started winning.

I'm not a racer, but have won a few media races, included one or two at the yearly nat'l meeting of the ski media group that I was in.

Don't miss tonight's Combined! I'm not sure exactly when it airs... maybe about 4-7 PST. Gawd it would be awesome if the two American starlets finish 1-2!!!

Here's a random shot from a spring road shot run... about 7 of us in the back of a pickup doing a couple laps.... in Mt Rainier Park. My home mt, Crystal, is nearby...some of the best terrain anywhere!
