Agree. IMO,AVXL have said they prefer to use PIII to verify (prove by measurement and objective evidence) that the treatment is effective. AVXL confidence level in the predicted outcome varies directly with the science DD and preparation. We have recently witnessed many BP's withdraw their AD trials presumably after seeing they were ALL on the wrong path and after decades of failure. A lot of very smart, well tooled/skilled people just walked away from AD. Did they do that to flip the bird to the FDA?(you're so smart, you do it) or was it b/c they were guided to conclude that if you keep going this way we will have to ground you. There is a new Sheriff in town Ya Know.

As we agree, doing PIII to verify whether a treatment is effective is NOT THE SAME process/thinking as shot-gunning with a large population expecting to retrospectively statistically rationalize a winner when you have only a thin theory on disease root cause.
