I dabble in other things, but don't spend near the time/effort as I do in miners. Some may say I'm crazy (wife may/may not agree with that statement, LOL)...but it's what I've done...so I accept the insanity that comes with this sector.

Yes, I learned very early that you cannot become married to one side versus the other. Even still, I've made the mistake recently of sticking with one side and it gets very painful. You must be willing to switch back and forth (or just be out altogether) if you don't have conviction. ESPECIALLY if trading the 3x NUGT/DUST. All those folks that didn't take profit on Wednesday are likely kicking themselves after yesterday. It's NEVER a bad thing to take profits in this sector...even if you have to re-buy higher (although, more times than not you get the opportunity lower again...like yesterday). GL to you.
