No one has a basis for "knowing this was part of the grand design" because the company did not mention genomic sequencing until they came up with that idea last year and decided to pursue it.

Your narrative seems terrific, in that it fits with a 'comforting' belief that the company knew something all along. But that's called narrative bias and the facts don't bear it out. The fact is, we're going down this road because we decided to after nothing obvious was reliably correlating to a strong possible response.

I say these things because that's what a dispassionate, unbiased look at the facts show. Not because I think what we're doing is a dead end; that will only be determined by our Phase 2/3. You experiment. That's what clinical trials in fact are.
