update

My dizziness started around three weeks ago. At first my GP and I thought my thyroid levels were at fault ( I, admittedly, am non-compliant in taking my generic Synthroid). During that visit she noted a bruit in my right carotid artery and ordered an ultra-sound. The dizziness increased rapidly to the point I left work and rested 36 hours (til the time of my appointment). I drove myself to the hospital for the scan, but felt I was not going to make it without calling an ambulance (my limbs were tingly and going numb). During the scan, I noticed the rhythm was skipping the third beat and I was dizzy while laying down. However, the technician said I was good to go. Really, I heard the irregular beat. At which time he stated "I can not tell you what to do, but if you were to walk over to the ER, that would not be a bad idea. And I was admitted. I was bed - ridden for three days due to the dizziness. Benign? maybe, but I was lucky in so many ways. My heart rate at times was 35 and my bp was 110/33 and 99/33. The only way to fix this is to take beta blockers or ablation. I chose ablation. They sent me home today (on the blocker) and will schedule my ablation on Monday. Although, I am still dizzy (about 10 times an hour, it is better than continual.

My blood tests

Cholesterol 190
LDL 110
hdl 75
Trigs 37
VLDL 8

tsh 16

In addition, the cardiologist stated my trigs were too low for Vascepa but my release papers indicated Lipitor 10mg (I did not fill the order) and will buy OTC fish oil
