That might be the case or it might not. Depends on what genetic markers are found to relevant.

Presumably if genomic information is being used it is because they have identified the gene variations that make a difference.

Sequencing the whole genome is a much more costly and time consuming endeavor that looking for one or a few specific genomic markers.

If investing was easy, everyone would be rich by now.
