So it looks like WMIH is going to be a holding company per NASDAQ filings. Goal of this new holding company will be to acquire various financial entities that can service and/or bolster the balance sheet of the holdco. Build the foundation under the umbrella

With no real large employee structure only some secretaries, paid BOD members, WMIH has positioned itself to grow into a holdco that will place subs with employees, structure etc under it as an umbrella of companies. Currently a SPAC designation per NASDAQ listing requirements, going to be a holdco with real rev-producing assets under it.

Expect a bank to be next, but this bank and/or lender needs to be one that is currently pushing business towards or doing business with the new sub NationStar. Now what does NationStar do?
Mortgages, Loans, Servicing Mortgages.

Do they provide Mortgage Insurance Services as required per TARP way back in 2009? Nope, they do not, but who does?
NMIH a company I wrote about back in 2015. One I wanted to acquire, because they garnered a never-ending revenue stream. Home Mortgage Insurance is required for any home loan that is above the 80/20 loan-to-value ratio. You must pay it until you have achieved the 80/20 ratio.

Now who buys all these mortgages NationStar underwrites? Answer...No one right off the bat. They service 98% of all loans issued. Wow!
No packaging and reselling (right away). This is that business that WMIH needed in loans, but do they write leases? No,so who would KKR get under this umbrella that writes leases?

What about Banking? We know there is large amount of funds to be made in credit cards, car loans, HELOC etc. It's one of the largest revenue streams for a bank. There is not alot of money to be made in just being a,bank anymore, but there is good money in Credit Cards, Car Loans etc...who out there is ripe to be picked up and put under this new umbrella?

With the NOL's on the books, WMIH (KKR) is positioning itself to be a player in the mortgage, loan industry. How does this translate into increased earnings? The more loans serviced, the more $$$ made. The dilution is over, so it goes up from here.

We have waited so long for something to happen with this compnay. Drrugby thinks $6-$10 pps in 1 year. Let's see if he is right.

We wanted WMIH to acquire biz right out of BK, however they never got it done, they say they had several candidates that did not work out. Who were they? Now, they have placed the first stone for a foundation of a holdco backed up by serious Wall Street funding. Time will tell.
