Looks like you can switch to a monthly too. I think the challenge is when/timing to get back in...a cross of the zero line or when it's rising off the bottom.
I followed the online webinar on Sumgrowth on what to do in a correction and how/when does Stormguard kick in. My take away on that (as well as your use of the USHL chart) - Jud's argument was - Stormguard has multiple factors in the algorithm as well as a focus on the end of the month that helps protect against the whipsaws and keeps you in the market longer than any indicator...but it also produces the highest gains since it avoids more of the whipsaws.
