but when you finish that statement with this: "but someone at the management got too greedy" I would have to ADD: and incredibly stupid.

AND that's the problem..GTE BOD far too educated and experienced to be that stupid. So what conclusion does that leave you with?

Your further comment: "Don't expect any flurry of positve PR's, not when they now got the attention of SEC breathing down every little BS that GTE might have spitted out previously”........is certainly true re: any “fluff PR’s.”

We can therefore assume that any PR’s now released, during a SEC exam, DO have validity…and will therefore trump the AMEX decision that (up ‘til now) this co NOT what it SAYS it is.

At this juncture w/o the SEC, how many investors would believe ANYTHING this company said? This is the one bright spot re: SEC involvement. So let’s hope GTE really does have news pending soon…….the question is: do they????
