Hemp and hops are first cousins. You can take root stock from one and graft it on to the other and the result will grow. A number of folks experimented with this in the 60's and 70's hoping to raise a hop plant (which was legal) with cannabis plant (which wasn't) in order to get a hop plant with cannabinoids. Unfortunately it didn't work in the way desired for cannabinoid production but the plant did just fine, and the result was a fine and healthy hop plant. Hemp is not classified as MJ/Cannabis in any states (well except for maybe Alabama where Senator (now US Attorney General) Sessions has had a lot of clout for way too long. Hemp beer is not illegal, as far as I know, in the majority of states, so Hemp Brown Ale has a green light for national distribution. If anyone has proof otherwise please let the board in on your DD. Inquiring minds want to know ;)

Long $SIPC$

All IMHO, of course............Do your own DD then you'll know for sure.
