Peak awareness!
This is what I experience when I read and heed your posts.
Sadly I reviewed and digested what you wrote and agree with all of your forecasts. I have an acquaintance who has a similar forecast and I respect you two very much.
A global cooling cycle will certainly SHOCK the world into a whole new thinking and shake the Global Warming interests.
There is still enough oil left in the ground to support a more simple life, but the dampener on that is a seemingly incessant population growth. A lowering of available conventional oil during a global cooling cycle will certainly lead to a dramatic population due to starvation.
With the world entering a global cooling period, we will still face Peak Oil, Peak Water, Peak Natural Resources, Peak Bee Population, Peak Soil and more peaks plus excessive world-wide debt levels.
I never thought the Dow would reach 25,000 so fast, so I don't discount 35,000 with a resumption of quantitative easing, but I think this gimmick will eventually destroy the financial system.
Once think for sure, I'm beginning to think of moving out of my city area to a more rural area. If there is a food meltdown, I see more Venezuela situations developing everywhere.
Stay tuned, Howard, each month is becoming more and more interesting. We might be the voices in the desert who are finally heard, but maybe too late!
