received this email form Scottrade. Although Scottrade has hundreds of millions of dollars in various "WAMU" flavors to transition I wouldn't think this has anything to do with our hold up.

It's best that everyone review the following transition dates that may hamper you from accessing your account/s and preforming several tasks including trading.

We’re excited to let you know that as of Monday, February 26, your Scottrade brokerage account, ending in *****666, will transition to TD Ameritrade. There is nothing you need to do right now—the transfer will take place automatically.

Whether you invest for the short or long term, as a TD Ameritrade client, you’ll find an investment experience built around you – with web, mobile, and downloadable platforms that give you everything you need to research securities, place trades, and manage your portfolio in new and better ways.

To make sure you’re ready to take advantage of it all right on day one, we encourage you to:
? Review this information—in particular how to access your account at TD Ameritrade.
? Visit the Transition Hub for important information and personalized details for your specific account, including the documents and disclosures that will apply to your TD Ameritrade account.

Important transition dates to keep in mind

February 23: As of 4:15 p.m. ET on Friday and through the weekend, you won’t have access to your Scottrade® account(s) as we transfer your Scottrade® holdings to TD Ameritrade. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please contact us at 800-619-7283 if you need assistance during this time.

February 16–February 25: Leading up to the transition, certain Scottrade services and transaction capabilities may be unavailable.

How to access your account beginning February 26
TD Ameritrade personalized support icon Log in using your Scottrade® account number and existing Scottrade® password. You may be prompted to verify your existing security questions. The answers to these security questions will not change from what you have set up at Scottrade.
TD Ameritrade Dividend Reinvestment icon To speak to a live representative at TD Ameritrade, call
800-669-3900, option 3 and enter your Social Security number.

To use our automated phone service, dial 800-669-3900, option 2. To access account specific information, enter your new TD Ameritrade account number and existing Scottrade PIN. (To retrieve your new TD Ameritrade account number, please log in to your account online using your existing Scottrade® account number and password. Then go to Client Services> My Profile> and click on Personal Information.)
