Exposing them at an early age doesn't necessarily do the trick. My sister and I used to go to our Philharmonic when in school, and my children went to our Symphony (world famous) too.

What does help, though, is taking them to holiday concerts, making a family tradition, that sort of stuff. And Broadway musicals. They love those.
