Marzan, the thing is, these doctors would know their patients were on DCVax-L as 90% of the patients crossed over. I think it might be more difficult for the patients or their clinicians to determine which they started as (control or treatment). Perhaps a couple of years ago, if a patient was showing progression, it was assumed and ruled to be progression.

If one were trying to guess at which patients was what, they might mistakenly think those patients who were progressing early were control patients. Only to then come to find out that those patients were instead showing an immune response and had actually started out as treatment patients.

I suppose that for some patients, perhaps it was somewhat clear to what they began as because of how many injections the patient had available say when they crossed over. But then that begs the question, how many vaccines were actually made for that particular patient? And did they know how many were made? Was it just 5, was it 10, or somewhere between that? Because if it was only 5, and the patient was control, crossed over, and had 5 vaccines remaining, would they think they may have been treatment because they ran out of vaccines at 5.

So unless the patient or clinician also knew how many injections the patient started with, they wouldn't necessarily even be able to determine individually themselves which they started as.
