TenK: This is ThinkorSwim. This is Etrade Pro. This is whatever one likes. They all work off the same data. This is no issue w/ "my chart provider". BTW, it is TDA. If it were my "chart provider" then "my chart provider"'s chart would not look the same and report the same data as everyone elses. TDA just so happens to go down to the minute if one chooses.

New shares get added to the O/S, what does it look like on paper...the Time/Sales? A transaction. Volume. Old shares get removed from the O/S, what does it look like? A transaction. Volume. The Time/Sales is just record keeping. And, all of the individual daily transaction share totals plus the after hour T-Trade transaction share totals equal the total share volume reported for the day...on the Time/Sales report. Then, it starts over the next day from zero.

In the daily chart they are appended. If, they are there to append and not removed.
