The strategy to raise cash for Amarin may have been a excellent one, but the timing and execution was poor......The stock had been selling between the low to mid low 4.00/sh ranges from the end of December through all of January.....Then word apparently gets out of a deal with Cantor and the price starts immediately dropping significantly even before the low price negotiated by Amarin(i.e. at about a 20% discount to the prices of the previous month is announced....and the price continues to drop after the announcement......Perhaps what Amarin needs is a CFO with extensive experience in "the art of the deal"
