Again, its all done by AI computer programs. If you put in a buy on a stock, a computer will sense it,
and send a buy signal ahead of yours, through a different fiber optic...and you'll pay a few pennies extra......multiply that times a few BILLION trades of buys and sells a day and it adds up.

And nothing is traced by the SEC.
