I'll give ya another take just to keep it simple:

Every year, every team begins the season with positive, hopeful thoughts and statements. An overwhelmeing percentage of those teams fail to meet their self proclaimed goals.

Some teams go on year after year with no success for their loyal, paying fans.

And, yes at some point even a stopped watch is correct ... just depends if the time is measured in seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years, decades, etc. etc. etc.

Nonetheless, it is good to have faith.
